My little guy has completely stopped all movement since this morning.
I believe he is gone.
We got to hatching day, 37 days of hoping and praying and he’s gone.
I still put him back in the incubator, maybe because I’m still hoping, but this morning he was pushing like crazy and now he’s as still as a stone, and it’s my fault.

I literally feel sick.. 🥺😢😭

Leave the egg alone and wait. It's normal for them to not move as much just before they get ready to pip.
The less you mess with the egg the better.
Ok, I did put him back in the incubator, but he’s so still! Absolutely no movement at all.
I’m not giving up on him, but how will I know if he’s really gone?

How are you doing ?
I know you are so stressed and worried for this little one
Any signs of life now ?
No, he gone, I’m gutted. I can’t help crying and I have to tell my daughter after school and my poor baby is going to be devastated. 😢💔
I can’t figure it out.
I just looked, here are the pictures.
Maybe you can tell what happened..

Thank you so much for your friendship and concern,
Amy

Are you certain there's no movement? How long has it been since you saw movement?
I'd probably leave it a little longer and check again personally. I just looked at the video of him moving and it seemed like very strong movements.
The photos look a bit concerning, but they do take rests, so it's probably a good idea to wait a little longer and then check again.

In the second photo. I believe I see a bruise, did that appear recently? Whether alive or passed away, I suspect a possible malposition. I could be wrong, I haven't dealt with that personally- @New duck mommy 2021 what do you think? Is that a bruise?

Picture 2 has the bruise I was asking if the egg had
He was not in the air cell and couldn’t break the shell to get air
Going forward on your next ones ri hatch
Watch for that bruise
When I see a bruise I immediately put a safety hole in the centre of it
Not a big hole only the size of a sharpened pencil end
We don’t want a ton of air to get in and dry them out but we need them to get air to live
I leave the egg be for 24 hours
Then I will either make that hole a bit bigger or if they have moved slightly and bruise a new area I make the hole there no bigger then a dime then leave them be till it’s been 48 hours minimum after that we can slowly start to peel shell and see what the veins are doing
I’m so sorry you lost him as you put your whole heart into this baby
I have lost a few my first hatch
One I helped to much to soon and the other was a bruise at the wrong end and I didn’t know
My last loss was my twins who bruised just outside the air cell in the middle of the night and were dead by morning when I found the bruise
I took it pretty hard so I get every emotion you are feeling
We can only learn from each hatch and now you know if you see a bruise outside the air cell you can take action right away
I hope the other eggs you have going give you some little ones
