I want to get a couple silkies this year - Are silkies very noisy? I can't take too much more noise in my hen house.

Well, all the silkies I've met have their own personality :]. My silkie cockerel is generally quiet, with the exception of a few happy coos every now and then. While Pippa (my silkie pullet) on the other hand, never shuts-up :U.
