My baby RI Red has a bald spot… Help!

I agree I think somebody in the brooder is plucking out her feathers. A long time ago this was happening to my grandmother and she made her chickens little apron type things, it looked bizarre, but it worked!!

I would wait until it's warmer and they have all their adult feathers to move them outside.

As stated earlier you can get cardboard boxes and tape them together or you can go to a grocery store and see if they have any big boxes they can give you. The ones for potatoes, and watermelons work well. Or you can try home depot or other hardware stores and see if they have any big appliance boxes that you can use. Here is a box we used from a grocery store to house our last batch of chicks.
