Is this one an Easter Egger too? She lays cream colored, medium-sized eggs. Sweet & VERY timid. OH, and how do I get the stuff off her rump? I'll have to wait until dark for sure.

This is my silkie, cochin mix. She's 4 weeks old. Is she a girl or a boy? Her name is Annie. I'm highly suspect with the comb(?) forming on her beak and she's very food aggressive and brave with the older ones.

These are my 8 week old cochins. I've always suspected one was a rooster, but now I'm changing my mind. Are these hens?

Thanks for all your input. I know nothing about chickens, but am learning fast!

1st- EE. They can lay any colored egg since they are a Mix breed ( wash her butt in warm water)
2nd- Cockerel
3rd- Pullet- Not pure cochin
4th- pullet- not pure cochin
x2 the cochins look like they might have silkie in them

This poor EE (the first one)...she had so much waste buildup on her....it was very difficult last night to wash her. It was a 2-man job. I didn't get it ALL off, but most of it. She smelled terrible. Should I try again tonight and put oil on her rump? She is so skittish of me that even when she's roosting, she's timid. She is mine now, but was my neighbor's (I think) originally. She layed in my yard and I started caring for her. She's adapting well to our new rooster/flock.

Aside from handling (daily) my young cochin/silkie roo, is there anything I can do to make him less aggressive? He's only 4 weeks, now, but I've had some interesting experiences with roosters.

Again, thanks for all your help.
