My bantam Cochins. 7 weeks now. NEW PICTURES =)

most of my roosters don't develop spurs until 6 months or more, that is not a good indicator.
My cochins are 6 months and I don't think they have spurs at all yet. My cockerals were slower to feather, don't know if this is common in this breed?

Well here they are. The comb doesn't seem to be getting bigger or redder on the little guy. And he still doesn't have all of his feathers

They are about the same size but he is much heavier than her. None of his new feathers are white, do you think that he is black molted or just black???

He wouldn't stay still for the camera and she wouldn't stay awake

I don't think it's mottled, my (limited) experience is that the mottled are more yellow when they are chicks and would have more Mottling than that right now. they are very cute

It's a Canon 40D. In all the pictures I used a 100 mm f/2.8 macro lens.

I know! They seem to have stopped growing

They are definetley 6 weeks old because I have had them for 5 weeks and when I got them, they had there wing feathers. So, they were at the very least 5 days old. They eat the best diet possible and are the happiest little things on earth, so I guess they were just breed to be very tiny. She was the tiniest thing I had ever seen. I fell in love with her the moment I saw her. She was a week old and a about the size of a golf ball. And she was all dirty and missing two toes

So I had to get her. I can't belive how light she is. She is the size of a sparrow now.
