Wow, that is a terrifying scenario!! I am so glad you are O.K. I hate those clamp on thingys on the lights. I am always afraid they will slowly slide down and fall causing a fire too. The one I have hanging in the shed over the quail is clamped, but also tied with a wire, just for safety. I am glad all the birdies are O.K. too.

I always kinda freak out when I smell smoke - and in winter - well I smell it often - we don't have a fireplace but everyone else seems to!
