My Barred Rock is getting bald spots, is this normal in the breed?

2 days ago i noticed my Barred Rock was getting bald spots on the tops of her wings and underneath them to. It does not look forced like the others are pecking at her. She is 3 and a half weeks old and does not have any feathers, it this normal?

I think that a lot of chicks around that age are starting to feather out and kind of get bald for a while while their feathers come in. Just keep an eye on her. I had a cockerel Birchen Cochin that had bald spots on his shoulders for a long time because his feathers were coming in very slowly. Just watch her and see what happens,

Do only Roosters get the bald spots?

I would think hens would too, I was just saying that I had something similar happen

. Although, I think you can tell by the dot on her head if it's a boy or a girl, not sure which way it goes though.
