I'm so sorry.
I get hyper-attached to my chickens and I am a little OCD about the babies since their so fragile. I JUST had a hatch where i nearly lost one and another was too weak to be with momma so i took her under my wing so to speak. If she were to die I would be heart broken it's so easy to love them and so easy to get hurt because they are so fragile. I don't think it ever gets easier but think of the love and warmth you did get to share with the baby.

I'm sooooooooooo sorry, favourites always die.
So sorry to hear. They are fragile, as I too am finding out.
