Thank you D'Angelo, it's been about a month or more since she has been gone. She would almost always talk back when I called her name. I had a silly rhyme name I called her Ellie Belly. It's still so painful to look at her pictures.
My other goose Lucy seemed to know I was hurting and she would do things I liked for them to do, when they would flap their wings and run and fly , I would clap my hands and yell out woohoo and say their names. I think it's Lucy's way of saying I'm here look at me!
I sing songs and put Lucy's name in the songs... The song
Suzie Q, I sing it and put in Lucy Lou and Lucy in the sky... I'm silly like that lol!

I´m sure Lucy missed her too. She´ll be needing your attention even more. I´m sure she lovesthe songs. My geese love it when I prattle on to them.

I am spending more time with Lucy and giving her more treats. The new guy shows signs of getting use to being here but he is still freightened of Lucy and prefers to be with the chickens. I am giving him some time with the chickens but also trying to get him use to being around Lucy as well. If Lucy walks any where in his direction he runs away, I think this makes Lucy feel bad because she looks down and kinda walks away. So then I start talking to her to make her happy.

Do you keep separate from the chickens? Can you put a couple of chickens in with the 2 geese for a week? If Lancelot (

gander) sees the chickens are ok with Lucy, maybe he´ll settle better with her.
