my big chooks are being bullys to my bantams!

hi,
my big chooks are bullys to my belgian d uccles they can not even be let out wit each other because i am afraid they will hurt my belgians!! they in away attack them! i need help! my belgians are locked up because of my big chooks!

Sorry to say, it happens quite often when there is a dramatic size difference. You may have to build a seperate pen for the d'uccles, and let them free range after you put up the big birds. I have Silkies and Marans, and I don't ever let the two breeds in together for just this reason. Too much can go too wrong, too fast! Welcome to the odd little world of chicken parenting!

Thanx so much.. And yea we will have 2 build a new coop 4 them. We have them seperated now but the big 1s still try 2 get them.
