The Helmuts I got at auction last week are a pair and I think I'm happy about it.

I took them to my feed store and the owners raise pigeons on their ranch among other things. They have mostly RIRs. I walked in with them and people oohed and awwwwed and one lady ran over to see how much I wanted for them.

The son had told me this weekend to bring them in and he'd sex them for me. I got a pair. He gave me nesting material and said he wants a pair. He was really impressed with them and said I need to let his dad see them. Guess they are a nice pair and in great health. Guess dad loves his pigeons and especially the black and white ones. The son said his dad used to raise Nuns that he just loved when he was younger. Anyway the place was packed and everyone wanted to know what I was charging for pairs. I have NO IDEA! But I do want more of them, because I just fell in love with them. I was hoping they were a pair just because I do want more.

OK so now I have to learn about pigeons all over again. What is it about me and birds?

I need breeding advice! I haven't owned pigeons in uuuuuhhmmm 40 years.

I'd like to take some pictures!

My phone is my only camera right now, till I find all of mine in storage. Too much work.

I bought a memory card for the phone last night. Didn't know how to put it in. Teen in customer service today knew how though. LOL

Got home and I still have no memory. I do on the card but none on my phone to do anything. I'd just erase, but I know theres a way to get them off of there and they are important pics. I've been trying to email all of my images to myself, but it says I don't have enough memory. I'm stumped until one of my grandkids shows up. My teen son just got his first phone and ipod and we don't know how to set up the ipod and his phone is a cheapie so no way he knows how to help me. I give him a week to figure it out though. At least with someone elses phone. LOL

Ok I've been surfing for info. Although my birds are healthy and they are beautiful, they seem to have too much color.

The Helmet I'm seeing online have just the helmet shaped marking and my birds have color to the throut. Either they aren't Helmets, are badly marked or they may be mixes.

Don't care cause I like them and want more anyway. LOL

They could be mismarked nuns or mismarked helmets, or a different breed. Pictures will help
