My birds make a lot of trouble!

My Barred Rocks knock over the water which makes my barn into a muddy swamp!

Its so dumb they just have to perch on the waterers don't they!?!?!

And my Lohman browns get so muddy and they look disgusting! lol! So here are some pics of the birds that make messes and get muddy! I

I don't know what kind of waterer you are using, but you do have some options.

1.) Put something on top of the waterer to hinder roosting. For example, get some cheap LARGE funnels from the dollar store and attach them to the top of the waterer.

2.) Change to a open top waterer. I have used a dish pan from the dollar store. Then I set it on a large concrete block. If you leave it on the ground, not the block, they will walk in it...

3.) Change to a hanging waterer.
