My Black Copper Marans not laying for 2 1/2 months.

We have mostly Black copper Marans. None of them have laid in weeks. But there all elderly also. I'm no expert but check that their combs are bright red. It's a sign of health and usually a readiness to lay. Also they all seem to lay less in the winter \ low light.
Last year I was ready to rename my coop "Malingering Acers".

Some chickens can finish the molt in less than two months, some take over five months. Many are somewhere in between. I don't know how long it takes yours to fully get over the molt.

Some hens start laying fairly soon after they finish the molt. Some wait until the days get longer later in spring.

I don't know when yours will return to laying. It could be this week, it could still be a few months. Yes, it can be very frustrating.
