I got a great hatch from this last batch of eggs from Jim...12 made it to the hatcher and 11 hatched! I also hatched 3 more from corancher. Last time I had a great hatch from hers and not so good from Jim's. Just the opposite this time. The one the others pecked on didn't make it. It was getting glued in it's shell so I did what I seldom do and I tried to help...even removing a tiny piece of shell caused it to start bleeding again. After a couple of attempts over several hours I wrapped it in a warm damp rag and let mother nature take her course.

Thank you all.

They are getting so big considering how young they are. I don't think the young roos probably weigh as much, but they're pretty much the biggest chickens I've got now, except for one of my Marans roos and I think my BLRW roos are still a little taller.

I've got way too many roos tho so at some point I'm going to have to decide who stays and who goes. I'm hoping a good percentage of the younger ones will be pullets.
