*~ My Brooder - Auto Waterer - Auto Feeder - Easy - PICTURE HEAVY ~*

Nice work. If they grow as fast as mine did, you'll be cutting and adjusting your water pipe every few days.

Hmm, I might have to come up with something else if they are growing really fast, I might have to find some kind of scrunchy pipe, or something easier that can adjust fast!

Any ideas on that anyone?

I used a whole bunch of leftover things from my house for my birds too... for my scrunchee pipe I used a dishwasher connector... had a half inch rubber slide on attachment on one end already.... it came with my dishwasher last year, but the old one from the other dishwasher fit better... the pipe material its made out of is really sturdy too, I just looped some 16 guage wire around two spots and through a hole in my brooder to secure it...and had no problems transporting water from then on! hope that helps.

great pictures by the way, I do like your ideas... I'm working on my second gravity watering system right now.

Oh yeah that would most definitely work, thank you!

And I hope your gravity waterer turns out good!

One thing you could do is set it at the height you need for adult birds, and raise te floor up to it by placing blocks or boards under it. Be alot easier to take a scrap block out rather than cutting pipe.

Yeah that would both work! I'm going to check out what will be easier!
