Looks good ~ the screen on the bottom will help keep the chips in the brooder.

Have you ever brooded chicks in the house before? If not you might want to know that as they grow and begin to feather out they create a lot of dust! The dust is from the feathering as well as the bedding. After a couple of weeks you will be ready to get them outside ASAP!

I have had them in the house once... sort of. They were here for a month or so, then at my boyfriend's. He had all the dust there

I can always put them in the garage if it gets too bad. It's usually at least 40* in there, plus the heat lamp.
