After reading some posts here on BYC, I chose to go the simple route to create a brooder.
Cost was an issue so I used two large sized clear plastic tubs and made the screen tops out of some left over 1x2's and chicken wire remnants from building my coops.
The heat lamps were found on sale at a local hardware/ranch type store, and so were the feeders and waterer's before the new stock of chicken goodies were brought in to sell.
I wanted something that i could use again, but was really easy to clean out. So I figured the plastic tubs could just be dumped and washed out with a hose, easy enough.
Here is a picture of one of them, they're both identical.
