AlienChick
Crowing
One of my bantam Silkies went broody, so I let her sit on 9 eggs I quickly gathered.
All the eggs were fathered by either a Polish (full-size), Silkie, or d'Uccle rooster. The mamas are either Silkie or d'Uccle.
(Not included in the photo are the 3 Seramas that were hatched with these chicks.)
It was so cold outside (and the Seramas are SO LITTLE) that I left the Seramas inside the brooder and brought the bigger ones outside.
My Polish rooster is the head rooster of my flock (only because the other three roosters are half his size).
Here's a group photo of the babies, who are now about 7 weeks old.
