My broody coturnix quail

Mihawk laid an egg and put it in the nest, she isn’t sitting, but I’m thinking once she collects about 10, the chicks wont need heat any more, and she may start to sit. I plan to swap her eggs for fertile ones if she starts sitting again.
I tried and shana was like nope not again! Hope u better luck

Strangely, 2 chicks have been plucked bald on their backs. They have no injuries, I’ve seen no one plucking or bullying, no mites. They act fine. The new, older faker and the snowie chick are unplucked, someone likes dark feathers I guess. They’ve never had heat, and probably need a couple extra days with mom still, especially the bald ones. I’m going to put the two lighter ones in with the albinos, and see if the others are still getting plucked.
