My broody Quail did it, 4 babies hatched! - Update and New pics page 3

Well genie and my other broody hatched babies are doing well! Genie is now getting her wing feathers, though not as quickly as her siblings!
Here are pics of them from this morning!

Also i finally got a chance to visit my friend who hatched some of my eggs and this is her quail which looked just like Genie when it hatched! What colour is this? Is this a colour you can feather sex?

Pretty! That is a Cream Coturnix. Ironsun has a chick example. But Yours have red-eyes..so it has to be pink-eyed dilute Cream? In the button quail the Fallow (pink-eyed dilute) chicks have bright red eyes at hatch and it fades as they get older to a dilute pink color. I am curious to see what your little chick will look like as an adult

here is a picture of a button fallow. It needs double the care at hatch because of the lack of feathers.

It's a lot of work to get them here..One day

Its more money than work really. You need an import licence and the person you are buying from needs to have an export licence. Both are easy enough to get, just lots of paperwork. Then have the birds air mailed to you.

The biggest hurdle is, of course, money

Gunna be awhile till I get my hands on that color
