My buff Orpington is a big bully

I’m worried about dot because there may be a reason for them attacking her like maybe a disease she has and the others might be trying to keep her away. Idk

Oh no i really pray that isn’t it. But she is eating, scratching and active… she’s no different than the other girls…the bullying always involves food…she roost with everyone, they scratch together. I’m definitely keeping my eyes on everyone though

Yes, Dot is shorter; but she weighs more than the other Dominique’s. My Orpington is massive … height and weight

Chickens can be mean if they are kept in small spaces so I suggest give them more space and they hopefully will stop picking on her.

Thank you! I think you’re right. I think the space is too small and they are bored. I’ve started adding more things to do in the pen.

They are laying. I do a layer feed (free feeding). And a grower feed once a day(mash)…Treats are cracked corn, sardines, bsf larvae; Once a day, Alternating the 3. The pen is 8x8. No clutter. The nestera coop is raised so it’s a little shelter under the coop. I can post pictures when I go out today …thank you for any information !!! I love these little girls and don’t want to have to get rid of anyone
