I love sampler type quilts. I think that all the different blocks and colors makes them so interesting to look at.

I do, too, but usually, I make them with sashing. Another type I like is when the blocks are all different sizes and are put together with or without sashing, so it really is sort of a quilt puzzle. Those are way busier than this one.

Sashing is nice, but I like the more folk art look that the quilt has without the sashing. Less formal and more homey feeling, to me.
