My Button Quails are now laying

That's awesome!
I had 2 males and 1 female in the same cage and they all had been raised together and got along ... until this morning! Both the males were fighting so I had to put one is a cage by himself.

Yeah, that's the issue with colonies...males will fight. Chinese Blue Breasted "button" quail are monogamous.

I have 5 buttons in the brooder but all of my quail are from the same mom and dad so I don't want to put Buddy with one of his sisters!

I am thinking about ordering some full grown females from a diferent line either that or males or something!
Do you guys know of anybody in Texas that has buttons?

I do ship live birds. I will contact you once I start seeing boys and girls..they are still oh so small
