Well, so far we have 3 call ducks. We did lose one (fully developed and pipped the shell, but died before it was even time to consider helping out). Another call duck is more than half out.

I am getting worried about the others. There was movement in some and now nothing seems to be moving. They don't seem like they have pipped the inner air sac or anything.

The other news is, one of the sebbies hatched, another is half out, and yet another pipped the shell!

And you think the call ducks are loud...the seb that hatched hasn't been quiet since it pipped!

So, seriously, which are louder, call ducks or sebs? My 5 week old seb is always going on about something. Even does this quiet little honk when sleeping (snoring?).

They are from my ducks (so no cost or shipping involved). All won't hatch and I have some people waiting on ducklings. My dh has already said no more duck runs, so I'll either have to replace an adult or sell the ducklings.
