my guys are 11 weeks and 6-7 weeks old now.
thought id show everyone how beautiful my rainbow hatches have been .
i breed purely out of enjoyment.
and my calls are PET QUALITY and i like it this way (so i dont need any flack for their looks)
a few other random farm photos may get scattered in here =)


mystery baby. feathers coming in white but has dark beak.
only time will tell.
and my beautiful choch bibbed is beside her.



most of the group. 2 blue bibbed hens. 2 blue magpie drakes. blue fawn hen. choc bibebd hen.
and the 3 mystery babies in the middle

(the water was changed 5 minutes before the pic. 13 ducks make mudd fast)

I love your calls CG. I like my pet quality calls too. I like them to be able to free range with the other birds and be healthy and happy and live like ducks, so pet quality are perfect for me.

im really hoping to get a black magpie outa one of these next hatches.
im dyin for a hen for the flock.
id also love a few more choc bibbed.

my 2 little blue magpie boys are by far the friendliest of corse. but they cant stay =(

altho the mystery baby that has the weird nutmeg brown color is a drake. and is quite puzzling. he may get an extended stay just outa curiosity. same with the whitish (im wondering if it will wind of being a silveR? which from what ive seen should be all white with a few black spots.)

And why do people get so weird with the whole PQ/SQ thing. I mean it's not like you see a Shelter dog and say, "Wow that's a really great dog too bad it's only pet quality." ??? Is there something I'm missing?

i really could care less about that whole debate
i love my birds. and their colors!.
i care more about personality.

we must both be missing it.

but i guess it is done with dogs 2.
if you have a GOOOODDD breeder breeding for show dogs they will pick and choose what puppies match the breed standard.
but then again apparently dogs have more purposes tha ducks.
altho i could list a ton.
-bug control
-pea eaters
-garden fertalizers
-eggs for eating
-eggs to sell for hatching
- put a smile on your face
-take up that empty space you had nuthin else to do with
-eat that excess lettuce, tomatos , ect that you just could finish or use
