My cat is miserable...

I have a huge active young cat and he does fine inside you have to spend time with them and let them do stuff thats stimulateing same with dogs and other animals , You wouldnt like being keeped in a place with nothing to do and bored out of youre mind but say put a computer and internet a good book another person ect and its fine .
I dont agree with outside cats for thecats sake and for other animals and peoples sake , the life span Avrage of an out door cat is 3 to 4 years the avrage life span ofa cat keeped indoors is about 3 times that . you do the math then theres the birds small animals peoples pets , yards and property to think about not to mention youre own heart if you go out to find someone has shot youre pet or run over them with there guts all over hte road .

He is beautiful. I have wanted one of those for years. Good luck and hopefully he calms down with age. My cat has been indoors only for 6years now and he seems to love his life. He should. Pampered.

I wouldn't mind letting him out but some people around here like to shoot and trap pets.

I just have two regular cats. I had them as inside cats for two years and they hated it. Now they come and go as they please. They are never far from the house but have followed me and the dog on a walk quite a distance.

I think cats retain a bit of wild instinct which is why they love love love to be outside. The domestication comes with they know where to come and get food water and shelter.

Bengals are closer to wild than the average domestic which is why the look so exotic. I would let them lose (NEUTERED OR SPAYED) or build them a cat run. But make sure to put insects in there cause they love to catch stuff.

Thanks everyone-- I think we're just going to wait until we've had her spayed, and let her be in and out. She's a great cat, very good (in general) with the kids-- I just hate hearing her 'sobbing' (she has the funniest sounds!) because we're outside without her
