My grandfather has a cat that I just took to the vet for him the other day. Her name is Boo and shes a 14 year old Siamese cat. She gets steroid shots on average 6 months just depending on whenever she has another outbreak. He said it was because siamese cats have sensitive stomachs to start off. But her stomach and insides get inflamed making her throw up. So for the last 6 months shes been practicaly vomit free. But it started up again a week ago. Took her back , got another shot, and shes perfectly fine again. Its nice for my grandpa not to have to clean up vomit 6 times a day so thats why we get her the shots.
So just a thought that it could also be your cats problem...
