Holy cow, they got here FAST! I was expecting them to be shipped today and not get them until tomorrow or Thursday, so I was really surprised when the HR director brought them into my office today! I had them shipped to my office, and so almost the entire organization wanted to see them. Not the kind of thing you see in a Los Angeles office every day!
I actually heard them long before I saw them..they were pretty distressed and LOUD. I thought they were supposed to be shipped in a special heated box since I only ordered 3...but I guess the special "heating pack" turned out to be ..an extra chick!! I was pretty surprised to see 4! Hoo boy..I don't know if I have enough room in the run for 4 chickens!
Anyway I ran them straight home and set them up in their brooder...thank goodness the lamp just arrived yesterday!
