My chick is not eating or drinking.

My chick has not been eating or drinking at all today. She is 5 weeks old. So today when I decided to check up on them, I noticed that her crop was not full at all, when usually it was really squishy and full of water. She also has not been running away from me like usual. She has stopped eating and drinking since today. Can someone help me please?

She has no blood in her droppings, as she has been on corid for a little while. I think it may be mites, as we saw some crawling on her body

I don’t have experience with mites so I am not the person to ask but I’m my experience diatomaceous earth is fantastic and the chickens love it, if your chicken get worse I would see a veterinarian.

how do I use diatomaceous earth? Do I just rub it into my chicks skin?

You can put it on the ground in your coop or get like a small tub or something and make it like a little dust bath and they will probably roll around in it. You may want to ask an experienced chicken owner about rubbing it into her skin.
