My chick was born with red stuff out

Is there anything I can do to help my chick? The chick was born with red squishy stuff on the outside of its belly button.

(the chick doesnt have the egg shell on him anymore)

I dont think so because my chick has red not yellow stuff

my chick had the red stuff, it all dried up but it died this morning
