Our 3rd grade class at school hatched 13 chicks about 2 weeks ago and they were all doing fine. On Friday, one of the chicks was laying with her legs straight out. She was fine in the morning and a couple hours later she couldn't stand. She will eat and will drink if I give her water by dropper or put it in my hand. She is alert and has her head up and chirps. Could she have been hurt by the other chicks? I now have her at my home in a brooder with 2 other chicks. The other chicks are not picking on her. They seem to want to cuddle with her. What can I do to help her to be able to stand?
