My chick is so much better after using nutri-drench and helping her walk around by pushing up her bottom. My chick is 2 weeks and 1 day as of right now and I have recently added her back to the chickens I revived her with(also same age). When my chick suddenly dropped she was kind of panting and looked like she was really fighting for breath. My chicks setup is not finished yet and on the day I got her I took my new chicks, including her, to finish it. While in the middle of working on it she just dropped. Currently I have added her to a temporary setup in my new houses basement. It’s not a finished basement just one with a bunch of concrete and what a basic horror movie basement would look like.( without the ghosts and stuff, just spiders) I will try to send pic. It is very hot here in Iowa and so that why I chooses basement, I have fan blowing by them but not at them, it is enclosed by chicken fencing 3 times( because holes where to big and they were causally walking through them) has some of the wood/grass looking things chicks walk on, and has there water feeder/ food dispenser with plenty of place to run. Which for some odd reason they kind of stay in one spot which I’m guessing is because there scarred of the fan. When I’m done with their permanent coop I will try to show pics. I just put my chick back after taking her away from them for awhile so I’m wondering if they will bully her/him. Also could you possibly tell me how to see if it’s a boy or girl cause I don’t like vent method and thats one of the only ones I know. I know for a fact that 2 of them are Rhode Island reds, 1 buff Orphington( the sick one), and 1 Plymouth Rock. I will try to see if she’s doing better when I get home and if others are still okay.
