My Chicken Becomes Hysterical Before Laying

My young chicken (Red-sexed born in Sept. 2018) becomes hysterical & spastic running & jumping around the cage about 1-2 hours before laying an egg, her first egg she was much quieter and seems to escalate each day.

The coop/cage has a quiet, separate darkened nesting box indoors, so free from predators. I don't think she's egg bound but her vocalizations are driving everyone nuts. She had her first a few days ago and has laid daily. Eggs look absolutley beautiful, well shapen and nice brown color but small (for now).

How long will this behavior go on?

Probably until the day she dies, that is normal hen behavior.

How long will this behavior go on?

Until she's used to laying.
Newly laying pullets can be quite dramatic.
Do you have other pullets close to point of lay?
