See picture. It seems she freaks out when I spray the vetericyn on her beak to keep it clean (how many times do I do this?) and she will reopen the wound.

Beak is crooked now that it's broken almost all the way through. From what I glean, I can glue some tea bag to it and let it grow out. However, recommendations say to wait until it is dry and clean. I am having a rough time getting her to not freak out and reinjure herself when I clean it.

Can I push it straight and add the glue/teabag brace to it or will this potentially infect her if it reopens while I do it?

I would leave her alone some. She is in a lot of pain, and she won’t die without the Vetericyn. Put water and crumbles in with her, a little cooked egg, and also add some water to some crumbles to make a small bit of mush. Did she injure the beak on the hardware cloth? I would make sure that she was near the other chickens her age in her crate, since they don’t like to be separated. Once the blood or red is darkened, she may be able to be with her friends.
