My chicken cannot retract her leg

Hi everyone. Sadly my three month chicken seems not to be able to retract her leg from the knee. She seems to have gotten lodged beteen the fence and a large rock. There was no obvious indications of a break upon examination and she never showed signs of discomfort during my exam of her leg. She tries to hop, but cannot bring the leg in and it sort of sticks straight out in front. I applied warm compress and bandaged the leg in the folded position and secured it to her body. I have her resting in an isolation box. She may not make it. Two questions: warning signs? is she too young to eat?

Side note. I won't take her to the vet as it's too expensive.
