I posted the cost at one point and can't really remember without going back how much the coop itself cost. The run has ended up costing close to. I already had the bird netting and I still need to get concrete to go around the outside of the run. Hopefully it won't cost to much more! I'm broke!

That depends on how you go about building it! We have collected a lot of pallet and box wood from a furniture company and a window company here in our area. We bought all of the plywood and 2x4's, nails, hardware, black paper, and the vinyl flooring. So far the materials have run us a little under $250! The shingles were donated by a friend who is a contractor and had them sitting around from past jobs. That saved us around $100 alone! We haven't built the permanent run yet, but I would say after that is done and the coop is painted we will have spent about $400 total. Not to bad for a 11' x 8' coop and large run!

Ricks Chicks - Here's the post with the cost of the materials for the coop. Please note that we used and recycled a lot of pallet and box wood to build my coop.

The inside is still not quite finished yet. I need to add onto the nesting boxes and I am still in need of putting in the permanent roosts. I only have some temporary ones in there at the moment. I will get pictures of the inside tomorrow and post what we have done inside so far.
