Hi my friends!
My chicken has been sneezing and has swollen sinuses and watery eyes. She might have mycoplasma gallisepticum. I need guidance. She eats and drinks well otherwise.

Is there a smell? My flock has MG and I treat with tylan. I could only find tylan 200 and its 0.06mls per pound pound 3x a day for 5 days. If shes been with the rest of the flock then they are all infected. They're carriers for life so no new birds in and no birds out anymore. I would also make sure no wild birds can get into your run so that they dont spread it also.

What smell exactly? The only smell from her breath is probably garlic since I've been giving her garlic water with electrolytes. Is tylan an antibiotic? Is it safe and will it affect chicken eggs so I can't eat them. Where would I get tylan? I only have 1 hen so far.

Like a rotten egg smell. If no smell then I'm guessing mycoplasma. Tylan is an antibiotic. I got mine at tractor supply. It says injectable but I give it orally. I could only find tylan 200 so the dosage for that is 0.06mls per pound 3x a day for 5 days orally. You can not eat the eggs while shes on the antibiotics and need to wait 1 day after her last dose.
