My chicken is hiding?

Hi everyone! So I posted about this yesterday, but I wanted to make a new thread to get more answers. My speckled Sussex is hiding under the coop constantly, she will come out to eat , drink and for treats but she’s under there instead of pecking and scratching during the day. She is in a molt by the way.

My speckled Sussex is hiding under the coop constantly, she will come out to eat , drink and for treats but she’s under there instead of pecking and scratching during the day. She is in a molt by the way.

If she's in molt she's probably not broody.

Molt can make birds grumpy and sometimes a molting bird avoids the push and shove of the main flock until she has her feathers back.
