I have a 9 year old Easter egger. She has always been a bully. She ripped the comb right off another hen's head among other things. Now she has her own pen and house and seems quite happy. She sleeps on a perch outside her house. She was in her house yesterday, laid an egg (which she hasn't done in a while), and promptly left the house . I went back a while later to collect eggs and hers was gone. Last night we found a snake in her house which is apparently where her eggs are going. She was in there with the snake and apparently didn't care. Her BFF is a snake.
