My chicken is prolapsing

My hen seems to be doing well. She was just dust bathing and wasn't walking so much like a duck anymore. She was walking like it still but not as bad. I am praying she does a lot better tomorrow. I put hemorrhoid ointment around her vent and I hope it works. Thank you all for helping me out. And I have a few pictures to see if thy are Roos or hens.

That much comb and wattles at 14 1/2wks, you most likely have a cockerel. It's hard to tell with photos, but if you have another BR that you know is female - look at the color of the feathers - the cockerel should be lighter colored.

Fighting isn't always a sign that it's male. The girls can have some great battles among themselves as well.

I'm glad your hen is doing better. It can take a while for swelling to go down. Even if the prolapse does go in, keep watch on her, it's possible it may come back out when she tries to lay an egg.

I soaked her again and all he poop came off of he red thing. I pushed it back in as Farr as I could but it came out right as she tried to poop. She has pooped little by little. What do I do now?
Hemorrhoid cream as Wyorp Rock said, honey, or sugar can help reduce swelling. But you can also use plain neosporin or vegetable oil to keep things moist so they don't dry out. Some find that holding the prolapse in for a few minutes while holding the chicken, will help to keep it in. The only time I have had this happen is 2 sisters at once had them, and the more they struggled when I held them, the more they came back out. So I just left them alone, and they went back in. But mine just seemed to have loose muscles there, and probably had a mild prolapse whenever they laid.

Ok. So I should leave her alone? I pushed it back in and it stayed for an hour or so and then when she pooped it came out a little and went back in. She seems to be in her spirits again and is eatin a little and dust bathing.
