One of my Marans since birth always would fall asleep but otherwise seemed very healthy. She even started laying a few weeks ago.
2 days ago I noticed she was hiding and not running towards me for treats.
Last night I saw her in the nest box when I brought out treats and brought some to her and she ate out of my hand.
This morning I find her hiding in a corner and she felt sooo light when I picked her up. I brought her inside and she's just sitting here in a box, not eating or drinking. Her vent clear, her comb nice and red. No outside signs of illness. Her eyes are open....I don't see any injury. I'm baffled. I gave her some water with a syringe and she fought it a bit but won't drink otherwise.
Any ideas on how I can help her?
