How old are they?? Any time between 16 - 28 weeks I'm told..........................

they are about 20 weeks. I was told this was early....

Average seems to be about 22-24 weeks, depending on breed...........patience my friend!!

thanks for the help! they are RIR light brahma, and siver laced Wyandotte. also have 6 little ones

Once mine started the submissive squats, they were laying within 2 weeks. My RIR started laying at 20 weeks, my Buff orp 26 week, barred rock 28 weeks. Look for the sub squats, go up to pet them or pick them up.
