I designed this to be moved with the lawnmower when moving longer distances, but it can easily be repositioned manually as well. I plan on adding shingles to the roof and staining/sealing the sides. I also will add hinged screen skirting around the sides that lay flat so predators cant dig in, but are easily folded up when I move it. It has been in use for more than a month without predator problems, but I have a good guard dog that stays out nights. I used chicken wire, but in retrospect should have used hardware cloth, so that will eventually get upgraded as well.

The opening to the coop between the coop and run is fairly large so it gets good airflow at ground level where the hens spend most of the day in the shade. The roost perch is just above the the door level so they can get out of the wind/rain if they want to and it is less drafty on cold nights. I am in South Florida, so a cold night for us is 40F. Do you think it needs more ventilation besides the big arched entrance? It does get really hot here in the summer(right now it is a pleasant 72 degrees). I could add a louvered vent on the wall opposite the exterior door and perhaps on the exterior door itself.
