my chickens breed is araucana

does anyone know how many eggs a chicken lays a day cause i have 2 chickens that are almost 4 mouths old and are about to start laying any time this mouth and we might have to buy more egg cartons cause ive heard that chickens can lay up to dozen eggs a week

sometimes they skip a day though, and at first it's not always every day, it could be every few

Also, if you have friends, family and neighbors you can get to save their egg cartons for you that would be better. My neighbors have been saving them for me and I already have a few grocery bags full now (I have 10 hens and a roo)
