I went to the pen this afternoon to feed and collect eggs. I picked up a sack off the kitchen counter to carry celery, radish greens and other snacks for my flock. After emptying these into the pen I started to throw the sack away and realized that I forgot the egg basket so I kept it to put eggs in. I laid the sack down and threw out scratch. All of a sudden it was like the fox radar went off and the entire flock ran/flew in panic to the bushes on the other side of the chicken pen. They have been skiddish lately because we have had a fox around but I checked around and could not imagine what frightened them. I finished with the feed and picked up the sack to get the eggs. That's when I realized it said "Kentucky Fried Chicken"!!!!!
