This looks like a lot. BUT i won't be doing all 12 of my chickens diaries every day. maybe three or four.

Daffodil
Hello. I’m head chicken ‘round here. I’m the sister of Dandelion. We’re both Buff Orpingtons. Lacy, Macy, and I hang out a lot.
Dandelion
Hey Peeps! Don’t tell anybody, but I think I’m mom’s favorite. Or maybe Pebble. I like pebble. She has pretty tail feathers. She likes tomatoes. I LOVE tomatoes. One time… (Sienna- I’m WAITING!) Sheesh! Sorry! Anyway, I’m a Buff Orpington and I like petting. (And tomatoes!)
Sienna
Hi! I’m Sienna, the pretty gold star. Mum really should clean out the coop more, maybe put in a deluxe dust spa. After all I layed the first egg (which she TOOK!). She’s here to make me happy right? Oh polly and me are BFFs.
Miss Gertrude Pecker (known as Miss pecker)
Oh, uh, hi. Oh dear, her comes my sissy Sienna. She is Always pickin on me! Exspecially when I try to lay in ‘her’ nesting box. So I layed in the feeder. Then I found a PERFECT spot outside. Mom didn’t seem to like that. She says I can deliver a nasty peck, whatever that means. (A me note- hence her name)
Nosey (AKA sassy)
Hey! Another goldie, I keep track of whats going on. I also keep mom in line. Or, try- she is forever telling me to quit sassing and get my tailfeathers moving. I LOVE to explore, especially
where I am not supposed to go.
Crumpet
Hello! Mommy is so nice, letting us out and she pets so softly. Monster (er, uncle) pets firmly, like I’m a dog or something. Hee, sienna ruffles her feathers at him a lot. I lately just like laying down, and being quite. Mommy worries about me.
Pebble
I’m an ameracuana. Mom says I’ll lay blue eggs, whatever ‘eggs’ are. She’s a bit tall, and I like it better when she sits down. Dandy and I are best buds.
Marble
Pebbles sister, I find Mom a bit scary. I’m getting braver! I still FREAK OUT when she holds me. I mean, featherless fingers swooping in on my like a hawk? Nuh uh! I can run really fast away from her!
Polly
HI! MOM SAYS I’M LOUD. I JUST LIKE TO BE TALKITIVE. I’M CONFUSED ABOUT MY IDENTITY. MOM THINKS I’M AN AUSTRALORP, BUT I AIN’T BLACK. SHE SAID I MIGHT ME A MARANS AND SOMETHIN ELSE. WHO KNOWS.

HIYA! Whatever Polly said about our breed goes with me too. Except, I am above her, far as pecking goes. Mommy says I’m named after Attila the hun, ‘cause I was feisty when I was a chick. I still like being on top.
Lacy
Hi? Lets just say, humans are scary. Like, NO TOUCHY ME! If ya do when I’m on the roost, I peck you finger to DEATH!!!!! Good bye.
Macy
Hi. I don’t like people. Bye.

Crumpet
Hi!!! Today was soooooo fun. Mommy cleaned to coop and let me run around the barn! It was really dusty. But it was really really fun to explore the barn. Usually mommy doesn't let us in the barn. There was lots of hay to scratch in and there was this fluffy hairball that meowed. Mom brought out lots of treats- Cantaloupe insides and rinds, and cucumber.

Sienna
Finally! mom FINALLY cleaned the coop! (a me note-I know i know, I was a little late...) it smells really good in there now. More comfortable for egg laying, you know. But the best thing was, me and Crumpet were able to poke around the forbidden barn! Lots of hair and such to investigate. But after that, when mom and uncle were putting us away, Me and lacy and macy and daffodil and pebble and Gertrude were behind the barn and a catfight was going on! It scared us. Pebble was really loud. Mom and uncle came running. Then Mom couldn't find Gertrude!

Miss (gertrude) Pecker
Today was SCARY. Besides treats, it was boring until me and other chickens went behind the barn in the middle of a cat fight! I was really really scared so i hid in some bushes. Mom and Uncle were calling for me and looking every where. But I was to scared to answer. But finally i got my feathers under control and came out. Uncle took me back to mom and she was glad.

Pebble
Hey. today nothin interesting happened. The usual getting out at 8:00am and pecking around. The only highlight was Uncle and uncle and Mom were riding "bikes" and shooting "nerf guns". Gertrude picked up on of the darts and tried to eat it. Mom and uncles didn't seem to like that. they chased her around until they got it back she did it twice.

Dandelion
As pebble probably said, today was BORING. Mom came out around lunch and picked grass and was braiding it and she told me she was making a basket. I just kept eating it. she didn't llike that. but she had to go inside. I took a good long dust bath today!

sorry about no entries yesterday, i was gone at my BFFS riding.

Daffodil- wow. all i say is wow. The humans DARED to pick me up and make me stay were i didn't want to. They held up a shiny black box (me note- camera) and started snapping 'pictures' they said i wasn't cooperating, so they trew me out! (me-just set her outside the barn )

Dandelion- sometimes mom can be a bit strange. She put me on a metal thing with three wheels and handle bars and took 'pictures' then they brough Marble and Attila in and set them by the front wheel and took more. Unlce and mom were saying something about 'being calendar worthy.'

then they brought us out and took pebble in.

Pebble- MMMMMMMMMM oats. mom and uncle took me into the barn and feed me oats, then made me look all pretty for the camera. they wanted me to be 'good for the byc calender" What the feathers? I dunno.

MOMMY IS LETTING US OUT! The big blue wheel thing (car) took her away ALLLL morning!!! When she came back she said WE CAN'T COME OUT because it might rain! NOOO!!!
