my chickens feathers,

my chickens are about a year and a half old, most of them have red and no feathers on there breast bone, i have one black sexlink chicken, and 4 Plymouth Rock chickens, anybody have an idea? they dont pick on each other.

It's normal for hens to wear the chest and belly feathers off while sitting on the nest to lay eggs. May birds are molting now, and it starts at the front and works it's way back, so yours could be molting, otherwise I wouldn't worry.
