Hello all,
I am new to this forum of BYC. Nice to know that more are interested.
I got five chickens, and they started egglaying a month ago.
Recently I had to coop them since they started to enter my neighbour's yard and he complained about it.
Ever since then, they stopped laying eggs and two of them started to act very strange.
They sint in the basket and won't feed nor drink.
What can be done?

Please help!
Thanks

If they're used to roaming freely and now cannot, then they're probably feeling stressed. Is your coop big enough to have that many birds in it? You should have, at bare minimum, 2 square feet of space per bird.

Maybe the two that are sitting in the basket and not eating could be broody? Do they screech at you if you try to take them out?
