My chickens have lice!!!

Wow thats really good to know, I don’t plan on bringing any more birds in, I just rescued a day old silkie chick and then I’m gonna start hatching my own once all the girls are ready

Was my first flock, didn't know until I slaughtered a cockerel and it was covered in lice.
Never had mites tho(knock wood)....but have never gotten new birds other than hatching from my flock or day olds from farm stores.
