Well today is Sunday. We went to church, and the Johnson's picked us up. Steven Johnson was a friend of Juni, but they are still friends with us even though Juni died... The sermon was on miracles-- like how it's a miracle the chicks don't get caught by the neighbor's..... Speaking of, the chicks were terrorizing the neighborhood today, chasing the next door rabbit, invading the human neighbor's yards etc. etc...... It's a crazy world out there. We got to sleep in today though! It was nice to have a good sleep in, but then I realized we were almost gonna be late for church so then our coop was a flurry!!! See you next week! ~Bisquick Marie

Hedwig: Terrorizing the neighborhood?!?!
Bisquick: Yea!! You chased the bunny then you almost went into the neighbor's yard and he was on his porch!!!
Pippy: Pfft! You call that terrorizing?! You should see Vivian in co-op-- now THAT is terrorizing.
Snap: Why what does she do?!
Hazel: She plays pranks on every single teacher-- stick pins on their seats-
Omelette: Gives them huge doses of Insta-Molt in their water-
Hedwig: puts notes like 'Pluck me' on their backs-
Pippy: BUT her brother, Vincent is even WORSE.
Buttermilk: That's awful!! What do the teachers do about it?!
Pippy: All they can-- but Vivian and Vincent just don't listen!
Hedwig: They're on the verge of being expelled...
Buttermilk: It sounds like they should have been a long time ago!
Hazel: Nah, keeps the classroom interesting.

We are going to go school shopping soon because we are in desperate need of pencils, paper, and erasers and such. Co-op starts the day after Labor day, so we have some time though... Bisquick and I don't like the chicks one bit, but Snappers is actually alright with them. Mommy was singing a strange song this s'morning while doing the chores... Something from a movie called Le Miserables sounds like a weird movie cause that says 'miserables!' and what the world is 'le'??? Oh well... I'm kind of excited for the upcoming school year cause I am taking Songbirdenese II and I'm also taking Turkish!!! Those are fun languages-- anyways, talk to you later!! ~Buttermilk Joy

Hazel: That Roman Numeral would be like this: V
Pippy: That's the letter V silly.
Hazel: No that's the Roman Numeral for 5.

I laid an-- EGG!!! Yes! That's right!! An EGG!!! Mommy let us all out, and I made a beeline to our old coop (since we were spending the night with the hens in theirs) so Mommy put me right in and I laid an egg!! After that Mommy squealed very happily and after much sitting I'm glad I laid it. After I laid it I went to dustbath with the chicks to tell them the news!!! Snap will write tomorrow, since I couldn't hold this news til tomorrow... Thanks for listening!!! ~Omelette Grace

Hedwig: I was wondering why Ommy went back into the coop.... It was strange.
Omelette: And you said that you would lay before me....
Pippy: Now Mommy is sitting on pins and needles for me and Hazel to lay cause we've got the pretty colored eggs!!
Omelette: Well my egg was a very nice brown with white speckles. :3
Hazel: It still doesn't add up to green and blue and pink eggs...
Buttermilk: Actually, pink eggs are just very light brown eggs...
Omelette: Yea! What she said!!
Snap: Brown egg layers are awesome!!!
Bisquick: Amen sista!!!
